In 1963/1964 Yusef Srouji was president of the Rotary Club

On the 25th of July 1963, P. Yusef and several members from the Club attended in Taibe (The Triangle) the Charter Meeting of the Club that was sponsored by the Natanya Club. Many members of the Rotary Clubs in the District attended the meeting. There were congratulations from all the clubs with exchange of flags and then a very rich traditional dinner was served.
The meeting was held at the Boys School in the village.
