On the 31st of October 1995, the District Governor Avraham Shlezinger came to Nazareth on his official visit. He started by visiting the Municipality of Nazareth, meeting the Mayor Ramez Jeraysi who talked about the projects of Nazareth 2000. At six in the evening the Governor met the Board of Directors whom he urged to do their best in adding more good and young Rotarians and also encouraged more members to join the Paul Harris Fellows as this will give more importance to the club in Rotary International.
At Eight in the evening Gov. Shlezinger and his accompanying group joined the Rotarians and their wives in a Special Ladies Night.
At the end of the meeting the Governor announced that the Rotary International president would be visiting Israel soon.
The Governor gave the Rotary Pin to a new member Dr. Halim Azzam
