On the 17th. of July 1980, an Interclub meeting took place at The Grand New Hotel with several member from the Acre, Rama and Affula clubs together with their wives and several doctors from town who were invited to attend the meeting.
Minister of Helath Mr. Eliezer Shustack was the guest speaker and he talked about the Government project for Health Insurance.

Accompanying the minister was Dr. Dan Levin advisor to the Director of the Ministry of Health for Medical Issues.
