On the 23rd. of April 2010, the Rotary Club of Nazareth hosted about 30 members of the Rotary Club of Breschia for a Dinner Reception at the “Al Nay” Restaurant in Nazareth. There was an agreement between the club of Breschia and the club of Nazareth to supply a 30 000 dollars worth of equipment to a
School in Bethlehem. RI refused our request on the basis that there was no Rotary Clubs in Palestine. However that refusal fuelled fury in Breschia and as a result they supplied the school of Bethlehem with equipment worth 200000.- Euros with no help from Rotary International.
