On Tuesday the 30th of May 2017, Rotary Club of Nazareth held a special meeting at the St. Margaret Hostel in memory of the late Past President Judge Khalil Abboud
the meeting was attended by members of Judge Khalil Abbooud Family and their relatives and friends and also by the members of the Rotary Clubs of Nazareth and Rama.

President Bashir welcomed the berieved family members, friends and the rotarians present. He then gave a brief historical review of his life since his high school up to his retirement from the presidency of the Magistrates Courts.

Past President of the Rotary Club of Nazareth Kamal Tannous, spoke about the amiable character of the late Judge Abboud and his kindness and willingness and readiness always to help others.

Past Preident of Rama Club Suhail Simaan spoke in fluent classical Arabic praising Judge Khalil Abboud and expressed the pride of Rama village in what Abu Touma had done as a lawyer and judge .

Past District Governor of Rotary Israel, Yusef Srouji talked about the late Judge Abboud, describing in details his activities as president mentioning specific cases that he thought would consider the Late Judge as one of the real and best presidents that served the club of Nazareth.

On behalf of the berieved family,Engineer Nader Srouji, son in law of the late Judge, thanked president of the club Bashir Bishara and all members for arrangng that memorial meeting and wished them continued success.
