During the annual conference of the Israeli Rotary Clubs, Friday 10/23/2020, it was announced that Mr. Bashir Naseer, an active member of the Rotary Club of Nazareth, was chosen as the future Governor of the Rotary Clubs of Israel for the year 2023-2024.

The current dean of Rotary Clubs in Israel, Dr. Nahum Frankel, anonced Mr. Bashir Naseer at the regional conference held via Zoom, with the participation of 288 members from the majority of the clubs in the country.

Mr. Bashir Naseer, born in Nazareth, has been an active member of the prestigious Rotary Club of Nazareth since its foundation in 1952. Mr. Bashir is the second Arab elected governor from the Rotary Club of Nazareth.

Mr. Bashir Naseer was born in 1961, is married and father of two daughters.

He holds a first degree in economics and accounting and a second degree in business administration (MBA).

Mr. Bashir has been working as an accountant since 1987.

In 2006, Mr. Bashir joined the Rotary Club of Nazareth.

In the year 2010-2011, he held the position of presidency of the Rotary Club of Nazareth, in addition to holding several positions as secretary and treasurer of the club.

Between the years 2016-2018, Mr. Bashir held the position of Assistant Governor.

He was also the Chairman of the Finance Committee for the years 2019-2021.

For years and on a voluntary basis, Mr. Bashir accompanied youth exchange programs from Israeli clubs to numerous clubs around the world.

Mr. Bashir is a member of the ICC-Inter Country Comity, which aims to strengthen relations and understanding between countries in the world.

The Rotary Club of Nazareth, represented by its president and its members, congratulate their colleague, the former president of the club, on his election as Governor of the Rotary Clubs of Israel for the year 2023-2024.
