On Tuesday the 18 of February 1997 a large number of the members attended a lecture given by the assistant to the Head of the Traffic Dept. in the northern district, Engineer Yusef Hakutai who talked about the traffic accidents in the district and mentioned that their number was on the increase and so the death on the roads.
President Abboud thanked the speaker and handed him the traditional present of the club while Fahim Khatib the chairman of the National Council for the prevention of accidents gave a token present to each of the members in the meeting.
