District Governor Yusef Srouji, in consultation with the Board and members worked on a project to issue a special Greeting Card on the threshold of the new Millennium carrying a message from Nazareth on a special card with a special postal stamp commemorating the event and stamped with the date 01/01/2000.
About ten thousand cards were sent to Rotary Clubs all over the world, but the feed back was very poor and the project though made a positive effect on most of the clubs in the world but financially was a burden on the club of Nazareth.
