On Saturday the 22nd of September 1985. the president and several members of the club traveled to Haifa Dan Carmel Hotel where they attended the Charter Meeting of Issefya-Dallyat El Carmel Club.
The guest of honor in the meeting was Professor Amnon Rubinshtein, minister of Transport, who in his speech talked about fighting the new and dangerous Kahana movement in the country. The Club of Haifa Moria was the sponsor of the new club.

President Iskandar after consultation with some members of the board, decided to honor two
citizens of the town for their long career in serving the population of Nazareth. Dr. Jubran Atalla and Sister Bernadette Helu, both from Nazareth and both pent most of their years in sincerely serving the people of the town and the villages around.
Johny Jehshan attended the meeting representing representing the Mayor of the Nazareth.

Five Professionals from Israel, were sent with a Group Study Exchange to the USA and
Hawaii and among them Riad Dibbini from Nazareth.

Income from the Traditional Christmas Party amounted to 6000.- New Shekel that were earmarked for donations to the Youth Institutions and Scout Boys in Nazareth.
