On the 10th of September 1985 the RI President Elect for the year 1986/87 M.A.T
Caparass of the Philippine visited Israel and attended a meeting held at the Grand New Hotel for the betterment of relations between Arabs and Jews. Several representatives from all the clubs in the North attended the meeting win which RIP Elect gave a short speech about the impressions he had visiting Israel.
