On the 28th of December 1963 the Christmas Party took place at the Galilee Hotel. Our parties up till now had a religious character where Christmas Carols were sung and reading of Christmas Stories etc
However, starting this year a small band from Nazareth Illit (with accordion Amnon Cohen and two others with a violin and a guitar) played dance music that was added to the traditional program for the first time.
Ninety Nine people attended the party with two guests.
The total income was I.L 742.50 from which IL 636.35 were the expenses and the net income amounted to IL 106.15 that would
be added to the funds earmarked for Scholarships to be distributed to students at the end of the year.
