On the 28th of December 1996 the club celebrated its traditional Christmas Party at Abu Maher Hall. More than four hundred members and friends attended. There were from the clubs of Acre, Ramat Yishai, Midal Haemek, Usfeya, Tiberias, Herzlya and Holon.
PP Elie Nakhle welcomed the guests and wished them all a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
The Shagririm Band started the evening with Christmas Carols then by the time the hall was full they changed to Dance Music.
There was lottery, Father Christmas and A Christmas Cake.
The Governor gave Rotary Pins to Farid Daher, Bashar Fahoum, Nader Agha, Joul Shokha, Nicola Boulos and Hisham Abdulrazek.
