On the 16th of October 1968, the Governor Eliezer Deshe made his official visit to the club of Nazareth.
He was accompanied by the PP. Shaul Haroush and PP. Heinz Buchwald.
The Governor enquired about the possibility of adding members from Upper Nazareth and Migdal
Haemek. The answer was that here had been several trials to invite some notables to join but were
unsuccessful so far. The Governor suggested that the Nazareth Club sponsor the establishment of a club there.
