On the 6th of October 1987, Governor Kalman Muchin paid his official visit to Nazareth. The Governor was met by the President and some of the Board members then went to the Municipality to visit Mayor Toufic Zayyad where both the Mayor and the Governor talked about the importance of cooperation between the municipality and the Rotary club for the benefit of the communities in Nazareth. The Governor and the accompanying group then visited the churches after which they met at the Grand New Hotel for discussing the projects and general affairs of the Club.
At 8.00 in the evening a Reception Dinner was held in honor of the visit of the Governor where an official rotary program was held then the President introduced the Governor who talked about Rotary in Israel and his projects for the year.
