In 1975/1976 during the presidency of Elias Abdu Zaher, through the efforts of the club in cooperation with the Nazareth Municipality and some talented local musicians, the Music Institute of Nazareth was established and a member of the club, Yusef Srouji, was elected to chair the General Committee and Dr. Nabile Azzam chaired the Technical Committee and became the Director of the Institute until he migrated to the USA few years later.
