On the 3rd of July 1988, change over of presidents took place in Tiberias where PP. Salem Abu Salem handed over the presidency to Selim Khoury.
The event took place on board a ship Lido on the Sea of Galilee with a special dinner and a variety program of Music and Dancing.
During that evening PP. Yusef Srouji got his first Paul Harris Medal from PP. salem Abu salem.
