On Thursday the 21st of December 1978 the Governor of Rotary Israel, Itzhac Braz paid his official visit to the club. The Governor was welcomed by the president and secretary, then a meeting was held with the Board of Directors after which a Ladies Night was held at the YMCA in honor of the visit of Governor Braz and his wife Rina.
