On the 29th of June 1986, the yearly District Convention was held in Rehovot Weitzman Institute. Several members of the club and their wives attended the convention in which District Rotary matters were discussed and the change of Governors took place.
Prizes were distributed to clubs who excelled in the different avenues of Rotary. The club of Nazareth got a prize for public relations activities.
