On Tuesday the 5th of April 2016 Rotary Club of Nazareth hosted Professor Dr. Rifa`t Safadi the Researcher and Specialist on Liver and Digestive System.
The meeting took place at the St. Margaret Hostel where members, their families and several guests attended. Prof. Safadi gave rich and useful information about his latest findings in his research about ways of precautions and treatments of fatty livers.

Prof. Safadi received his professorship in Internal Medicine,and Gastroenterology with specialty in Liver and Bowel Diseases, Metabolic Syndrome. At present Dr. Safadi is the chairman of the Israel Institute for Liver Studies and Head of the Liver Unit, Gastroenterology and Liver diseases Division of Medicine at Hadassah Hospital.

Prof. Safadi is also chairman of the Liver Dept. in the Holy Family Hospital in Nazareth. He has already more than 160 articles published in many world medical magazines and is on the staff of editors in some important medical magazines.

Dr. Awni Elias, President of the club of Nazareth thanked the speaker and presented Prof. Safadi a simple token of thanks and wished him continuity of new findings in his field for humanity at large.
