The Rotary Club of Nazareth held its yearly meeting for the change of Presidents from Mr. Nimer Nasser to Mr. Essam Rashid in the presence of DG Dr. Nachum Frenkel, SD Yona Mazor, DGA Mr. Albert Zaher and administration members of Rotary Nazareth.

PDG Former Judge of the Israeli Supreme Court Saleem Jubran, gave his blessing via a phone call to all Rotary members and both presidents.

President Mr. Nimer Nasser announced the beginning of his last – meeting by welcoming all Rotarians and guests. He reviewed all of the initiatives and projects conducted during his year of presidency thanking all those who had contributed in the success of the various projects.

Mr. Nasser rang the bell announcing the end of his last meeting then called on the new President Mr. Essam Rashed who in turn rang the bell announcing the start of the new Rotarian year, called the new club secretary, Mr. Azmi Elias and new club treasurer Mr. Walid Geraisy, so as to start the first meeting of the new Rotarian year 2020/2021.

President, Mr. Essam Rashed, previewed all of his plans for the upcoming Rotarian year. Stressing his commitment to continue what his fellow Rotary Club of Nazareth presidents have started.

President Rashed also spoke of the need to collaborate with regional and international clubs thus acting in accordance with the Rotarian motto “ROTARY OPENS OPPURTUNITIES”
President Mr. Rashed thanked the former administration as well as all of the various committees for their highly appreciated contribution during the Rotarian year 2019/2020.
