On Thursday the 9th. of June about 30 members of the Rotary Club of Zikhron Yacov paid a visit to Nazareth which included an arranged meeting in Al Manara Society for people with sight problems. There the group was met by Mr. Abbas Abbas, director of the society and some members of the Rotary club of Nazareth.

Mr. Abbas Abbas talked about the society its history, its work and its future projects and specially the project concerning the Oral Library for the blind which was founded few years ago and are in the process of developing its work to reach the Arab World.

Presidents of the Rotary Club of Zikhron Miki Lev Ron and of Nazareth, Dr Awni stressed the importance of this great service to those with sight difficulties among the Arabic speaking population in helping them get all their different rights.

Rotary Clubs are supposed to support this project as it is in the interest of our societies to help their progress in moving forward.
